Seriously good eats. The daily special was tamales so we ordered 2 for $9 and the Smothered burrito. Dang. Bring your appetite. Huge portions and spiced right. It was hard to leave it on the plate but really a lot of really good food. The appetizers are all larger portions as well and you could sit and drink for a while enjoying the atmosphere. Sorry about the pics the camera blurred.

Make sure you understand before you come here this is authentic Mexican food. This is not Tex-Mex, there is no free tortillas, chips and salsa and other things of that nature while you wait on your meal. The food it’s self is very authentic and again not Tex-Mex. if you want Tex-Mex you need to go a few doors down to the place with good Tex-Mex. If you want good authentic Mexican food Pepe Delgados is the place. Everyone working here is super friendly and the lay out of the seating area is really cool making for a fun atmosphere. The food it’s self is really good. Their meats both beef and chicken have wonderful flavor. The rice here is some of the best rice I have every had. Are the prices a little high for the portion? Yeah maybe but it’s also quality over quantity and even at that the prices are still reasonable.

We had a wonderful lunch if authentic Mexican food. In the middle of the college core, this restaurant has off street free parking. You stand in line to place your order from the menu on the wall. Everything is made to order, so don’t be in a rush. We enjoyed quesadillas, burritos, enchiladas and some very good guacamole and chips. We went with locals who claim this is the best Mexican food in Norman. It sure was good.

This is a great restaurant! Such lovely people and delicious food. Definitely have at least one plate of fried potatoes on your table at all times.
